I advise and coach senior leaders of some of the world’s largest organisations on their hardest decisions: where strategy, culture and technology meet ethics.
A Cambridge-trained moral philosopher, I have spent nearly a decade advising FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 executives across five continents, first as Principal at Principia Advisory, a leading ethics consultancy, and now as Associate Strategy Director at BCG BrightHouse.
I am an inaugural Carnegie Council Ethics Fellow, a former fellow of Harvard’s Berkman Klein Center, a Henley-qualified executive coach, and a speaker at Cambridge Judge Business School. I am currently writing a book on moral intelligence, grounded in philosophical and empirical research and 50 in-depth interviews with leaders across business, government, civil society and academia.
Advisory
I work with executive teams on the questions underneath strategy: what an organisation stands for, how it makes hard calls under pressure, and how it builds and deploys technology and AI it can stand behind.
My focus areas are ethical leadership, purpose-led strategy and culture, values-based decision-making, and responsible innovation.
Executive Coaching
I coach senior leaders through moments of pressure, transition and consequence. My approach brings rigorous coaching practice together with moral philosophy: seeing a situation clearly, knowing what you stand for, and acting on it when it costs something.
I hold the Executive Coaching qualification from Henley Business School.
Speaking & Teaching
I speak and teach on moral intelligence, leadership, culture and the ethics of AI, for business schools, conferences and leadership teams.
I speak at Cambridge Judge Business School on the AI Leadership and Leading Change programme, and contributed to Springer’s volume on ethics and responsible innovation.
BCG BrightHouse
I partner with leadership teams to turn purpose into performance across strategy, culture, transformation, identity and narrative, working with writers and designers to make purpose tangible in how organisations speak, decide and behave.
Principia Advisory
At Principia, a leading ethics consultancy, I advised executives in FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies on strategic decisions with an ethical dimension, on building ethical cultures, and on responsible innovation, including the ethics of technology and AI. I worked with organisations facing high-stakes, highly regulated challenges across North America, Europe, Asia and Africa.
Academia
I completed my PhD in moral philosophy at the University of Cambridge in 2022, after an MSt at the University of Oxford and a BA at Amsterdam University College. My doctoral research explored the intersection of ethics and aesthetics, and I have presented my work at international conferences from London to Sydney.

Moral intelligence is a muscle. And we are outsourcing every rep.
The capacity for genuine moral judgment, MQ rather than IQ or EQ, is the defining capability of the 21st century. Its absence connects AI, geopolitical fracture and climate collapse as three expressions of the same underlying failure. IQ we are automating. MQ we need for our survival.
Moral Intelligence is a narrative non-fiction book for business leaders and anyone seriously interested in ethics and leadership, with a practical framework for developing this capacity at every level of leadership.
It is grounded in 50 original interviews with senior leaders across business, government, civil society and academia: people who have navigated high-stakes moral decisions and are willing to reflect honestly on what those decisions demanded, what they revealed, and what they cost. Interviewees to date include CEOs, presidents, chief officers and venture capitalists from organisations such as Google, the White House, the World Economic Forum, Georgetown University, PwC, KPMG, NatWest and Randstad. The book also draws on moral psychology, institutional theory and two and a half thousand years of philosophy.
Philosophically serious. Empirically grounded. Written for the moment we are in and the future we need to build.
